Last week I had Pumpkin Garland on my weekend to do list. It was inspired by a Fall celebration tree I had recently seen while on vacation.
I thought maybe I could recreate it for my own home. Well I had some ideas and I ran out of time and resources so I decided not to attempt it until I remembered I had this growing in my garden.
It started to grow in my garden all by itself from seeds from last years pumpkins that I had placed in the garden as compost. I also discovered that it had two siblings.
And this little guy that I am not sure will be ready by Halloween.
So I have instant garland without spending a dime. I have only harvested one since the other two have not turned yet.
But so far they look like they will be the perfect accent to my fall flowers.
It will be my Pumpkin Garland until Halloween when I will decorate just for that night. I have a really fun idea that I will share later this month, but for now I will enjoy the simpleness of these orange little guys. Enjoy!
PS: Don't forget to enter my Giveway! Ends tomorrow 10/14 at 6:00 AM EST. Good Luck!
