Name Pennants

In honor of my Twin Nephew's Second Birthday I decided to create name pennants since the theme of their party was little men. To start this project I only need a few items. First I cut a triangle 13" x 21" with a 45 degree angle. Next I cut letter using stencils.. from my felt and old t-shirts (white) After a little sewing I was left with these lovelies I then sew another triangle to the back and stitch all the way around. Lastly I slide them on a bamboo stick for a photo shoot! So easy and only uses about  1/2 or less of felt! Enjoy!

Estate Sale Goodies

Over the weekend I visited three Estate Sales and was hoping to find some real treasures for my home. I found a few things that I just had to share. A Big Yellow truck that my husband found for our twin nephews to play with when they visit. In great shape and nice heavy metal so it can take some rough play. A little orange truck that will keep one or the other nephew busy for  few minutes. This one is plastic but sturdy and ready to be played with. Mini Crock. Just about 12" high and in perfect condition. This will look beautiful with some fall (eek!) mums planted in it. So my weekend was productive! Enjoy!

What I Saw Wednesday- The Twins

Over the Easter weekend I as able to spend sometime with my twin nephews. And at a little over 1 1/2 years old they are full of energy and personality. They move so quick at times that it is difficult to get photos of them, but got a few that show how much fun they are. Waiting for Easter Candy Looking for cars Playing on the couch Resting on the Couch Checking out the Easter desserts. The twins are so adorable and making the cutest faces. I wish that I could have captured more of them but there are many years to come for those. Enjoy!
